Tetbury is on the edge of the Cotwolds, near the border of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire   in the south west of the UK.

Car Parking and Directions

All those wishing to drive to enjoy the Woolsack are advised that car parking is charged at £3 per vehicle and you can stay as long as you wish on the day.  The centre of Tetbury will be closed to traffic and parking restrictions will be enforced throughout the town.  The car parking charge includes one copy of the Woolsack Runner programme, additional copies of the programme are available at £1 each.

Traffic diversions

• Please note that Diversions will be in operation around Tetbury on the day as the town is shut to through traffic.

Car park site 1 can be approached from two directions.

From the A46 Stroud/Nailsworth road.  Approach the town centre from Beverston on the A4135.  Pass the Fire Station on the right and continue for 75m then turn left into the Dolphins Hall, entrance to the recreation ground is through the gate at the rear of this area.

From Minchinhampton/Avening.  Approach the town on the B4014 (Hampton Street) passing the small Premier Stores on your left.  Continue for approximately 250m and turn sharp right into Chavenage Lane, as you turn you will see the entrance to the recreation ground on your left.

Car park site 2 is best approached from Cirencester on the A433

On approaching Tetbury approx 150m after Ilsom House Residential Home, take a left turn at the crossroads signposted 'Tetbury Industrial Estate'. Continue for approximately. 0.5 miles and the entrance to Preston Park is on the left.
