The Rail Lands Trust

The Rail Lands Trust is very grateful for being nominated as a beneficiary of the 2011 Tetbury Woolsack. Already a number of important improvements have been made to the Goods Shed, which have both vastly improved its appearance and halted any deterioration, we now want to get the building used and that's our objective for 2011. As well as the Shed there are improvements to be done in the parkland to improve its appearance, this is already a well used Tetbury asset and we will be turning our attention to this also. Thank you Woolsack, we hope that Tetbury has a great day !! - On behalf of the Rail Land Trustees.

Tetbury in Bloom

“We are absolutely delighted that Woolsack has decided to support Tetbury in Bloom for 2011 especially with the town winning through to the national finals of Britain in Bloom. With Tetbury competing against five of the very best towns in the United Kingdom, our focus, as always, will be to make the town look its very best, for everyone to enjoy and be proud of.” - Sue Hirst, Chairperson.

Tetbury Hospital

"On behalf of the Trustees and Staff at Tetbury Hospital, may I thank the Woolsack Committee for their support of this vital facility in the town, which serves the people of Tetbury and the surrounding area. As a Charitable Trust, we are dependent on local fund-raising to provide the resources to meet the un-ending requirement for new capital equipment and your donation will help us continue to provide improved services for our continually increasing number of patients.” - Alan Cross : Chairman

Cotswold Care Hospice

"On behalf of the hundreds of people we support every year Cotswold Care Hospice is grateful to be a beneficiary of the 2011 Woolsack Day. Cotswold Care is a true local charity – all money raised is used here in Gloucestershire to care for those with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones.  All of our services are provided free of charge. Every year we need to raise £2.1 million from the community.  We need your support to be able to offer this vital care." - Marianne Sweet Communications and Marketing Manager
